Leonard Lee

SENIOR FACILITATOR & LEADERSHIP COACH

Leonard is an experienced corporate executive in talent management and learning and development. Since Sep 2012, he has been the senior director and Asia-Pacific regional head of talent management of the global hospitality chain Hilton Worldwide.

He is heavily involved in coaching, designing and running development/assessment centres for high-potential leaders, running leadership programmes, and implementing talent initiatives like succession planning, talent reviews, and organisational culture and D&I initiatives.

Before that, he spent 8.5 years in the investment bank Barclays where he was the head of learning and development for Asia-Pacific. In this capacity, he managed talent management initiatives and designed and delivered various programmes, such as leadership training, talent reviews, selection interview training, assessment/development centres, team building, and performance management programmes. He also spent some time consulting (in UK psychometrics firm SHL) before joining Barclays, where he was involved in conducting executive assessments, designing assessment/development centres, delivering 360 feedback, leadership training and coaching.

Leonard holds a Master’s in Business Policies in Social Development and Employment (Industrial Sociology) from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences-Po), France and recently a Graduate Diploma in Applied Positive Psychology from the School of Positive Psychology. Currently, on sabbatical leave from Hilton, he is serving as an Adjunct Lecturer at Singapore Management University (SMU), instructing undergraduates on Organisational Behaviour.

Leonard has also been an Associate Coach with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) since 2010. He received his accreditation as a Board-Certified Coach (BCC) from the Center of Credentialing and Education (CCE) in the USA.
